One of the few rock formations in Hljóðaklettar that has it’s own name is Tröllið, which translates to “The Troll”. I took the panorama right inside the mouth of the troll, which in fact is a giant basalt formation.

Hvítserkur – A Rock Formation in the Sea
This somehow weird looking rock formation is called Hvítserkur which translates to “white nightdress”. However to me this basalt rock definitely looks more black than white!

Städel Museum Frankfurt Courtyard
This panorama shows the newly constructed courtyard of the Städel museum in Frankfurt. It has been founded in 1815 and hosts one of Germany’s most important collections. The collection includes about 100000 drawings, 2700 paintings and 600 sculptures. Visit the homepage of the museum here.

Churburg in Schluderns

St. Coloman Church near Schwangau
St. Coloman church has been built between 1673 and 1678. It can be found near the very famous Neuschwanstein Castle near Schwangau. When looking carefully you can even see Neuschwanstein Castle in the panorama.

Dandelion in May
In spring the meadows in the Allgäu show huge amounts of Dandelion. Everything is bright yellow from the many blossoms.
