Articles related to the Sony α 900 camera. Mostly panoramas taken with the camera and usually a ‘shaved’ version of the Sigma 10mm/f2.8 fisheye lens. ‘Shaved’ in this context means that I removed the metal sunshades of the lens with a saw. Now I have a 180° fisheye along the longer side of the sensor.

There is a viewpoint on both sides of the Marble Canyon. I was standing on the southern viewpoint when I took this panorama.
Viewpoint at the Navajo Bridges
The two Navajo Bridges span Marble Canyon near Lee’s Ferry. The first bridge was constructed from 1927-1929, the construction of the second bridge was completed in 1995.
I was standing on the older bridge and held my monopod in vertical direction right over the railing.

The Lower Antelope Canyon is a slot canyon near Page, Arizona. It’s located on the land of one of the navajo tribal parks in the navajo nation.

This is a panorama of the Horseshoe Bend of the Colorado River near Page in Arizone. It’s taken shortly after noon and I used a pole with a heigth of approx. 10 feet (3.15 m) to get a more elevated viewpoint.

The Goosenecks State park is located near Mexican Hat. It overlooks the meanders of the San Juan River which are approx 1,000 ft (335 m) deep.

As we were driving around the main road of Monument Valley we also stopped at the North Window between Cly Butte and Elephant Butte. I just took a little walk to the north east. Then I was standing just north of Cly Butte, so this is the most dominant mesa. The Artists Point is located directly underneath the sun. In the opposite direction of the sun you can see Elephant Butte.

The Moki Dugway is a section of the Utah state route 261. The winding road descends a height of approx. 335 m (1,100 ft) over a length of 4.8 km (3 miles).
Owachomo Bridge is one of the three natural bridges at the Natural Bridges National Monument. It spans 55 m (180 ft) and has a height of 32 m (106 ft). Sipapu Bridge and Kachina Bridge are even higher and span an even greater distance.
