This spherical panorama shows the Zytglogge in Bern (Switzerland).
Technique:
The shooting was done with a 3 meter (appx. 10 ft) pole to reach a more elevated viewpoint. The lens was mounted with a custom-made bracket. Stitched from four images taken with a Sigma 10mm fish eye lens on a Sony A900. Zenith and nadir were retouched in post.
For the WWP event ‘color’ Markus and I decided to take some pictures of subway stations in Munich. We finally ended shooting our images at the subway station Candidplatz and at the subway station Westfriedhof which are both extremely colorful stations. This is the panorama of the subway station Candidplatz.

This spherical panorama was taken while standing on the viewing platform on top of the MAIN TOWER in Frankfurt am Main.
Technique:
Four shots around with the Sigma 8mm/4.0 fish eye lens on a APS-C sized sensor (Sony A 700). Custom L-bracket on top of a double-monopod. The zenith and nadir were retouched by hand in post-processing.
Only 28 minutes left until the start of the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge 2008. Some of the 73,719 runners are still on their way to one of the starting areas of the race.
